There tonsil stones google it
No those are called tonsil stones . Cripts is were they form
Have you thought of Candida Albican. It is a fungus that gives those white spots, painless and often with thick saliva or clear mucus in throat. You could get rid of it but it comes back.
You must have been running a fever w/ sore throat to go to ER?
Did they swab (culture) it. If so, get results copy. Strep
generally has swollen neck glands/bright red tonsils. If you
took full rx & it returned, maybe you got it back from your
toothbrush (often overlooked). If not that severe, may be thrush
& need an anti-fungal like Diflucan rx. The spots don't hurt
unless you swab them off & they leave small ulcerated tissue.
If you think it's strep, color code towels, etc. & ask other
family members how they're doing. Avoid mouth kiss & aim for the
cheek!
White patches in the throat is a "sign" of strep infection, which is why you are always getting meds for it. Have the doc do a test for strep to make sure that it is the problem before taking meds. If the test returns negative, have the doc swab the white patches again and send it out to be identified by a pathologist. good luck
