how can I heal my nose skin?

The original piercing stud leaned into my nose causing an indentation. I've had my piercing for a month and a half. After about 2 weeks I had the stud replaced with the ring to help it heal better. What can I do to help heal the skin and get my nose piercing looking normal? If I can't, I'll just let it close
