my voice has changed, clear throat often can't sing

A few years ago I noticed a change in my voice and it was raspy for quite a while.  I used to beable to sing but my voice cracks and I have difficulty hitting notes.  I went to throat dr.  gave me nose spray  My voice isn't raspy but it is not sweet anymore and I still can't sing

I have the same problem too. But mine started recently when i began working in an air-conditioned environment 8.5hrs daily. my throat does not hurt but my voice has changed and i cannot sing as well as i could before [esp. with the high notes] my throat is usually dry even when i drink my fluids. I NEED A REMEDY!!!

When my acid reflux was at it's worse I was constantly clearing my throat and when it is acting up my voice cracks during singing especially high notes. I don't know if that is your problem but thought I'd mention :)
