strep,mono? PLEASE RESPOND ASAP

For exactly 1 week i have been having a real sore throat. and its gotten worse as the week wore on. Today i missed school for it and i had a temp of 99.9 and it felt like my head was heavy i was real fatigued and tired, and it hurt like hell to swallow. this is like the 100th time ive had a problem outta my throat. this past year ive been havin sore throats and a bunch of times wen my voice disappeared. but anyways does anyone know if wat i have right now is strep or mono or just a cold. i will list the symptoms

-sore throat
-red swollen throat
-difficulty and pain with swallowing
-fever
-tiredness and fatigue
-headache(sometimes at the same time my throat is hurting)

i have tried tylenol, throat spray, and cough drops. does anyone have any suggestions? please respond ASAP i am 17 and i am still in school so i cant afford to miss any more days 4 this

thanks so much....its been some days now and i aint gottin any better....i keep complainin to my mom but its been hard to get an appt wit the pediatrician cuz of all the **** thats been goin on and other appts. do u have any other ways i can keep this **** down until i can get to the docs? other than cough drops cuz im suckin on like 2 off em right now

Ok the drugs you are taking will only treat the symptoms so you won't get any better. Plus being up at 12:18AM will not make you get any better faster...sorry I know how hard it is to sleep when you feel like ****.

Nobody can really diagnose what you have by those symptoms they are just to generic, which is a good thing because it is probably nothing serious. I would goto an ENT specialist and have you tonsils checked out, and checked for strep, mono and laryngitis.

Keep in mind there is all sorts of **** that can get stuck in your tonsils that can cause this and only a doc and prescribe antibiotics.
