Junction of hard and soft palate hurts, looks infected

Yesterday I threw up around 8 times in the morning after drinking too much the previous night. I believe the stomach acid burned the roof of my mouth because as today progressed it began hurting more and more. Could have really started after rinsing my mouth with mouthwash today because yesterday it was not a concern but hurts a lot now. Nothing else is bothering me. Would like to get some other thoughts/opinions thank you to anybody that would help!
