Is it a problem if I am left with swollen gland after an infection cleared

I experienced a number of what appeared to be tonsil stones. Then my left tonsil appeared to be infected as I was experiencing white drainage. That seems to have cleared itself but I M left with a swollen submandibular gland in my left side. I have not had any other symptoms like fever, aches, being tired.

I would have a doctor look at it, I actually have 8 or so lymph nodes left in my neck after a terrible chest infection a year ago. They have been there ever since, doctors have done ultrasounds and blood work but everything is fine and they haven’t grown. They said it isn’t terribly uncommon for lymph nodes to not quite go back to their original size after a bad infection. Sounds a lot like your case. Still it’s worth going to a dr to get some basic things checked
