Is the sore in the back of my throat from throwing up too much?!

So, the reason i've been throwing up is because i'm addicted to opiates, and as much as they make me feel good they make me throw  up so, prety much everyday i throw up once or more, and just recently i noticed my throat hurting then when i checked it i noticed it was a sore in the back of throat. Ive got a pretty good idea that all the throwing up and acidic acid is what caused the sore, but im just trying to make sure, AND what other medical problems could  vomiting at least once a day for the past year could do to me.....
