Please help concerned with throat

For the past few months on and off I’ve had severe pain in my throat once a month, well this month ear pain came along. Finally called my doctor who wasn’t able to see me due to covid and her being pregnant (totally understand) she put me on Augmenten 825mg,I am on day six still not feeling better ear and throat still hurt. There’s this area where I have a picture of the area that I can pin point exactly where it hurts. Woke up today with eye swollen, I dk if I have some type of infection going on or what. Hoping to schedule to see an ENT soon. I also work for a dental office took xrays no signs of abscess or anything. Lymph nodes feel swollen and everything that bothers me is on left side.

i have an ear/throat/sinus problem too after having covid 2 years ago.  i have parasites in my head.  not saying it is from covid, but they both happened at the same time.  the sore throat is the worst.  feels swollen and stretched out, almost a tired muscle feeling.  take some pics of what comes out of your head, get a mag app with a light, and look closely.  not sure if this helps, but it is an avenue you should explore to rule it out.  they are very tiny; and you will not get help from your doctor for this, because he will not see anything...

Completely agreed with @specialmom, this is a tough time you should not avoid any health condition. If you don't want to visit the doctor personally then there are many online doctor consultation sites.

Whoa.  My honest recommendation is that maybe you need a covid test. You weren't seen and your doctor assumed this was a bacterial infection. You'd be better by now if it were, so it was/is likely viral.  These could be covid symptoms.  Otherwise, virus symptoms in which comfort care is best.  I would avoid vulnerable people until you know.  Let me know what happens.
