swollen uvula

Hi in october i got a tickly feeling in my throat like a hair was stuck. This continued for a while the doctor wasnt concerned and said it should sort itself out, it didnt recently my uvula has swollen and it is touching the back of my tongue. I have no pain fever or cold or flu and my tonsils seem fine i have no swelling around my neck or throat outside but i do feel like i have dry mouth alot and constantly have this hair like feeling i have been refered to ent but i dont know how long that will take also i have been given Clarithromycin 250g tablets to be taken twice daily, i am halfway through the course of tablets and the uvula thing is still there but not as bad as it was three days ago but i still have the dry mouth and hair feeling. Sorry for droning on but its really worrying me and i would like to know if anyone else has had/got or resolved this issue. Thank you in advance.
