tinsley sound

i have a tinsley sound in my left ear ,sometimes its in my right one but Manley my left ,its very annoying because i dont know just what it is i am on antidepressant meds ,could this be related to my meds ,i am on them over 2 years but i only have this tinsley sound in my ears a few months,.

sorry nancy for not getting back sooner ,thank you so much for answering my question i have got a bit of hearing loss ,i will say it to my d,r, thank you again ,,

Certain medications can cause tinnitus (noise in the ears). Medications that have adverse effects on the inner ear are called ototoxic (ototoxicity). However, given the time lag, this seems less likely in your case.

You should be seen by a doctor, preferably an ENT, and get a hearing test to rule out any hearing loss or other problems with your ears. Good luck!
