Frustrated

I have lost so much hope for ever actually finding out what's going on with me, I'm 24 and basically living on pain meds and my life has been turned upside down! The thought of living a pain free normal life like all my friends doesn't even seems like an option!

When I was 18 I was diagnosed with endometriosis had a laparoscopy at 21, and had been on so many hormones and tried so many different things to be told a few months ago that they no longer think it's the endo that's causing me my chronic pain. Now they think its my bladder..  I see a gyni urologist but that isn't until February :(
I was in emerg this past weekend the pain had gotten so bad I literally couldn't move let alone stand, they did an ultrasound and found cysts not only on my ovaries but my bladder as well and two had burst and they were pretty sure another two were getting ready to.. Tonight has been an extremely hard night with the pain I'm ready to rip my hair out its so bad, I don't even no what to do with myself I don't want to go back to emerg because it's not like they did anything for me after I got my results back they told me what was found that they had ruptured and basically told me to take it easy and sent me home.

I am so frustrated I don't even no what to do or how to feel.

Cysts can be very scary and painful. Did they give you surgery when you went to the ER to clear out the ruptured cysts? If not, and the pain continues you may want to go back and have them re-evaluate you. If it is a large cyst it is generally not a good idea to leave that inside of you. Do you know what kind of cyst it was/what was inside it? Once you start healing from this give your body time to recover. Be patient and persevere through it!

I'm very interested! I'm supposed to work in an hour and i honestly don't even think I can do it! Work had been amazing with everything but there's gonna come a time where they just aren't gonna take it anymore.. Mind you it's not like in working full time anymore

Things still haven't gotten any better this week. I have to have a biopsie but waiting to see the specialists is the part that isn't easy.. And getting told they now think it's something totally different.. I'm so frustrated

I totally can empathize with your frustration. It took 14 yrs to diagnose me going in and out of 40+ doctors only to be shoved multiple antidepressants but no help. Finally at the age of 27 I was diagnosed with stage IV deep infiltrating Endometriosis.

I have a bunch of journals in my profile if you are interested.

I can help you find a good Endo surgeon as that is the only way you will get relief. Regular gynos sometimes miss Endo as they are not familiar with all the different colours, shapes etc.

Let me know
