transvaginal ultrasound

i am 30 years old, constantly bleeding. my 2nd transv results:

Endometrium is heterogenous measuring 0.9 cm thick with several small cystic spaces seen. subendometrial seems intact.there is no focal mass. on color flow, scanty vascularity

left ovary-lateral to the uterus & measures 2.13 x 2.78 x 1.54cm(4.77cc) with several follicles seen. slightly medial to the left ovary, is an irregularly  shaped anechoic cystic mass measuring 2.05 x 1.64 x 1.57 cm (2.76cc). no solid areas mass seen within. no tenderness elicited on probing/

there is no adnexal mass seen.

cul de sac has minimal anechoic free fluid

-before 2nd trans v, I was brought to hospital at 4am since left side started to get so painful at the end i was just given pain reliever. Dr. is telling my results are normal/negative from any malignancy. but i will undergo biopsy when i have my period. I am still waiting for my period and left side is getting painful again. Can someone explain to me please my endometrium & left ovary results. Thank you very much!

Did they say it could possibly be polyps?

nothing worry, thanks much for helping me out on this. the results of my pap smear was negative with intraepithelial lesions or malignancy. had to get it done, because i had constant heavy bleeding..still waiting for my next period, since that's the time i will undergo biopsy. thanks again!

I hope I didn't offend you. It doesn't matter if you did or didn't have it I just want to know so I could help rule out different things.

What were the results on your pap?

What made you get the pap done? Bleeding during or after sex or reg scheduled pap?

Thanks, ticked. Dr. didn't say i have endometriosis..i was just trying to assume i have but then the biopsy is to know the cause of my constant heavy bleeding and determine other complications.

Yes, you have a point that it is too early to say it is not malignant..though i forgot to mention that it was for the result of the pap smear only. And the biopsy could be for the bleeding, possibly to be sure i dont have uterine cancer that can only be discovered by getting a sample or through biopsy.

I was reading the other posts bout their transv ultrasound.,and so i posted mine, and just trying if it could be explained by someone who can understand most of the terms. I was trying to post under doctor forums and maybe be answered by a dr. too just like other posts.

Do you have Endometriosis or did they say it may be? Just curious so i can try to answer your question.

Not sure how a doctor can say anything is normal/negative for malignancy unless he says that because there is no solid mass. Why do a biopsy if he is so sure?

Usually someone with Endometriosis has fluid in the cul de sac. Your uterus is not mentioned as in shape or if it is normal so I want to assume it is.
