Please help

Ok soo..i have endometriosis. I also am due to have my baby in 3 weeks. I want to get a surgery done asap after the baby to control my endometriosis for as long as possible and keep my lufe going smooth for the baby. When can i get the surgery done and whats my best option?

As much as you want the surgery done ASAP. I would hold off and see an Endometriosis Specialist that is experienced in Excision. Some times the waits are longer but you are getting the best surgery for this disease.

The difference is regular obgyn do ablation which is burning out the disease and also don't have the skill or knowledge in removing off other organs such as bowels, ureters, bladder etc. They also don't know the different colors and looks of endo and it can be left behind. I have excision gets the disease from the root and having it done by a skilled "Endo" surgeon is gold standard for treating endometriosis.

Although there is no cure you have a 8-10% of it coming back with Excision and up to 60% with Ablation.
