Why do i get fat with lupron? And will i still be pregnant having endemetriosis?

I have been diagnosed late last year having 4cm endemetriosis. The ob gyne gave me DEPO PROVERA twice a month or every  2weeks. Since then i started gaining weight. After 2 months i transferred to a differrent doctor and she gave me lupron this time, once a month shot. For 2 months only. My last shot was last April and its been already 5months and i still continue to gain weight. My question is,

1.) how long is the effect of my last shot of lupron last April (of this year)?
2.) Why do i continue to gain weight?its been 5-6months since i had my last shot?
3.) i had my regular monthly period last June,  will i still get pregnant?
The doctor told me it has decreased in size but only tempopary. Pleasee help

I hope I can answer some of your questions.

1) It could take 3-6 months for Lupron to leave your body and some situations sometimes longer.

2)  The weight concern is something that many people have experienced. It is one of the main side effects that women have. It messes with your hormones and this drug was initially used for prostate cancer.

3) You can get pregnant on Lupron as it is not a birth control.

As someone who has been on Lupron and diagnosed with Endometriosis I have to tell you that having an "Endometrioma" (Blood Filled cyst) is an indicator of moderate to severe Endometriosis.

That being the case no matter what you take it will not remove the disease. The problem is regular gynos are not up to date when it comes to the treatment and removal of Endo. Nothing you take will remove this disease, it needs to be cut out (Excision) not just laser. Laser will get the surface of the disease but excision (cutting out) will get the root.

You really need to see an Endometriosis specialist. Don't waste anymore time on these medications without a definitive diagnoses.

If you are interested in finding someone please message me and I can direct you to the best for this disease in your area.
