well the dr didn't say much other than it must be old blood and they sent me home but since then my periods have been red I started yoga for endometriosis and I think this is helping me get rid of any built up blood

Hi, I often have dark yellow, then brown blood at the beginning of my period. Then I have bright red, dark red (when its really heavy) and then its ends with brown to black blood. So I guess first I have to get rid of some old (dark) blood before the new (bright red) blood starts. then, my period ends with old blood again. That's been my experience, I hope this helps.

What ended up happening I am having the same systems, plus nausea and not sure if this could mean I'm pregnant- If I am it would only be 2 weeks so I'm worried if I am I'm miscarrying - I also have Endometriosis

Hi,
Dark blood usually indicates old collected blood and not fresh bleeding. Also this can be thickened endometrium which is shedding or a possible miscarriage. Consult your Doctor.
Hope this helps.
