hey suzanne thanks for getting back. they havent done the lap yet, hoping they will soon. but they think i also have I.C. its VERY painful :( ive had these symptoms half my life, and they match perfectly with I.C. every single symptom. also vulvadynia comes along with the disease. i got my blood work done and im just waiting for the results. my mom had it so i think they got it right this time(or at least one of the things thats wrong) b/c i also have symptoms of endo on top of this. i went to the e.r. a couple days ago b/c i was having non stop stabbing pains for a week and it got so bad it was constant. ive taken it easy since then i was so scared. now the stabbing pain has lessened some. i honestly hope i can finally find out whts causing all my pain and get help!! thanks for writing back i greatly appreciate it. i need the support b/c noone understands my pain ;/

Hi Unicornkari,
Yes it is very possible you have endometriosis.  I just had a Lap done a week and a half ago because I was expreriencing severe pelvic pain so bad it felt like I was in labour.  I have been on morphine for the pain since January 2011 and have not been able to work since then.  My other symptoms include feelings of a bladder infection with no infection and also have not been able to have sex because it is too painfull.  The doctor removed a cyst from my ovary, and removed endometriosis from in between my bladder and uteris.  I am still in pain but am hoping I will finally recover.  They did an ultra sound and CT scan prior to my surgery and never found anything so if they haven't found anything on you, You should probably still get a Lap done so that you can get better.  My surgeon is also testing the syst and endometriosis to see if it is cancer.  So it is very serious.  I hope this helps. Suzanne
