laparoscopy Post Op FALL DOWN STAIRS

I had a laparoscopy 5 days ago and today I have slipped and fell down the stairs! I felt pain around my tummy and have hurt my tailbone quite bad, more rest for me!! What should I do?

I can't express to you how often I did this after my hyster with a catheter in.. UGH.As long as your stomach hasn't been hit and nothing has opened I would say you are okay that way but if you hurt yourself with another body part maybe have the doctor take a look.

I am 12 days post op and can't imagine even walking up stairs, never mind falling own them.  Have you been to the doc to check it out?  You really should as you don't want anything to delay your healing.
And yes, please rest.  That means total rest.  A little light walking is okay but NO bending over, NO lifting, NO engaging your tummy muscles, and NO driving for at least 2 weeks.  Everyone is different depending on what they have done, but I know for me I need at least 3 weeks of total bed rest and 6 weeks of taking it really easy before I heal.
