what to do after surgery?

i'm new ,i didn't known what was endometriosis before oct07
i made a laparotomy oct 07(incision vertical),Dr removes my right ovary and part of my left ovary
there was a comlpex cystic mass in the right adnexal region (9*7 cm)and reaching contact with the right pelvic side wall laterally and with the uterus medially ,the mass wass abutting on the urinary bladder anteriorly and reaches l5-s1 level superiorly, axial slices of the pelvis.
few cystic formations were notedin the left adnexal region the largest (4*3cm)and mild amount of fluid
was seen in the cul-de-sac
after one month of surgery he told me to take just orgametril
i'm 29 years,i want to know
-if there is a chance to be pregnant.
-if it is necessary to take hormone therapy or hormone replacement.(balance the hormone)
-if orgametril is enough
-may endometriosis cause loss of memory?
-can i make sport?

Anything i can do to help :)  i hate what i have been through and if I can find anything that helped me i will definitely pass it along.  even if you cut back on the most of it and you still have the caffeine i dont think it will hurt to much.  Try the other stuff first and let that be your thing that you keep until you want to try to avoid it. good luck!!!

I cant say that i 100% stick to the diet that i should be on because its so hard being a single mother and sticking to that but for the most part my daughter and I both eath all multigrain foods.  I dont buy whole wheat at all just wholegrains. we eat alot of vegetables and fruit. I recently changed to organic milk becuase for me to give up milk is hard because I love it but I know that you should have dairy or red meat.  I love medium rare steaks so again i cant say 100% i follow because for the most part I am good but I am human as well and I love certain food.  Its extremely hard but as long as you check the ingredients and make sure there is no sugar, caffine etc it should be fine. Try reading the book " the hip chicks guide to the macrobiotic diet"  this is the book that my first specialist gave me. Although before this I was eating fairly well this helped make me realise different things and was very beneficial to my body.  Although this book is really hard to follow when it comes to how to eat it is very educational in learning what to eat and why.   Borrow it from the library if you cant afford to buy it, i liked it alot.

I guess you can change, but that is something that you would want to talk to your doctor about.  You can change to another form of BC to do the same thing

Can you play sports?  Not sure if that is what you are asking but the answer is yes.  As for the memory loss i am not sure but I am sure its a possiblity.  The only way to find out if you can have children is to try.  There is no way to determine if you can or can not unless you try.  I have never heard of orgametril what is that?  I take a birth control pill at the moment to keep it at bay but it can also grow when on the pill so not sure why I am still on it.  I guess it helps with the pain because i dont have periods anymore.  You still have your ovary so that is good.  if you are having a hormonal imbalance it might be because they took that ovary and it takes a while for the other ovary to compensate for the one that is missing.
