Can I drink four weeks after being diagnosed with mono?

I was diagnosed with mono a week ago as I was feeling very tired and my throat was hurting me. After being diagnosed my throat got worse and it became hard to swallow. About 3 days ago my throat started to feel better and I stopped also having headaches. When I was originally diagnosed with mono my blood platelets were low. I went back today and my blood platelets were at 76 and my doctor said they should be at 150. I am going to Montreal in 3 weeks and I am wondering if it would be fine to drink alcohol as I know mono effects your liver?
