Is this a new or reactivated EBV infection with no Mono

At the end of November, I started to feel ill with some flu like symptoms such as body aches, chills, fever (102.2), drenching night sweats, chest pain (left side), shortness of breath, and severe fatigue.I have been in and out of the ER over the past month with visits to Hematology and Infectious disease until I get these results.

Now here’s where my frustration maxes out. I get a phone call from the ID Dr. who says I tested positive for EBV so I have mono and ill get better with rest and hangs up. So, I go to my primary Dr. and get copies of the EBV results and I almost lose my mind. Mind you, I am a relatively healthy 37yo Male who never had mono and have never been tested for it in the past.

EBV early diffuse Ab.igG 124.00 (H) (I assume this is the EBV EA test). (EBV EA)
EBV Capsid Ab.igM 67.60 (H)  (EBVigM)
EBV Capsid Ab.igG 169.00 (H) (EBVigG)
EBV Nuclear Ab.igG 506.00 (H) (EBNA)

This test was drawn from me on Jan 5th, just over a month from when symptoms started showing up. Now the ID Dr. tells me I have mono, yet I show no signs of mono and most importantly as noted from the CT Scan my neck and chest Lymph nodes are not swollen and I have no sore throat. Also the monospot done at the ER was negative.

From my research I found that someone who has elevated levels of EBNA along with elevated levels of EBV EA shows a reactivation of the EB virus from the latent stage it was in. Am I correct on this? Any help would be great.

Also note my CBC is all over the place with low WBC, low RBC, low platelets, other tests show High B12, high LDH and lots of other abnormalities.

All of the symptoms you describe are caused by the ebv virus thats the way your body fights off infections.  you don't need to have swollen lymph nodes for those symptoms to appear.  There are no medications for those symptoms all you have to do is to change your eating habits, i would recommend a vegan diet and all of those symptoms will dissappear.  Maybe there are medications for some of the symptoms to mask them but you are not dealing with the real problem which is the ebv.  The medications will just mask the symptoms while the ebv gets stronger and at the end the ebv will lead to more complications.  To be honest who would want to be in medications when all one have to do is change the diet.  Eating the wrong type of food ebv releases toxins that make one feel depressed imagine getting on medications for depression just for not changing the diet.  In the end there is evidence that ebv can lead to more complications if one keep feeding it with the wrong type of foods.

Yes it's the ebv virus i used to get some of those symptoms like the fatigue when my immune system was weak due to a bad diet.  Yes for those symtoms to appear you don't have to have mono, but it's the ebv that is causing all those symptoms.  Eating the wrong type of foods feed the ebv virus and make it powerful enough to make you feel that way.  By wrong type of foods i mean like gluten containing foods and other type of foods. i explain more about the wrong type of foods in another post i responded to a person.  I'll leave the link so you can read everything i responded.
