Also I was wondering if EBV could trigger your sugar level, because I took a glucose test after drinking a glucola and my sugar went pretty high. Then when I tested for a diabetes antibody, it came out negative, so doctors don't think I have diabetes. Also I have a meter to check my sugar level, it always comes out normal SO FAR.
I had a lot of lightheadedness and loss of strength when I had mono. But yes, I think it's quite possible for many of the symptoms to continue beyond what is considered the "normal" duration of the sickness. Do you have mono now, or is this more of a long-term deal for you?
I have EBV and there are a lot of thing it can affect. When it's active (mono) some people get rashes or even jaundice (yellowing of the skin). I do tend to get dizzy, and that could be due to not getting enough rest, or maybe not enough vitamins or just the EBV.
