Any drugs that provide sexual excitement?

My question is not exactly ED, I am a young guy (29) that has no problems with erection during the sex act.

However, I have a strange alternating cycle of around 3 weeks. For 3 weeks I'm quite easily excited, wake up with an erection most mornings and can have a proper intercourse. But then for the next 3 weeks my libido goes way down. I have no desire to have sex at all, I can even get excited but in many cases I don't, and this gives me problems, as I get unable (or taking a long time) to ***.

I'd like a medicine to make me excited in those periods of low lust. I read that all those ED drugs will only work if you're sexually excited.

Hi Jack, Its a mystery that you present, your results are very good?
So it must be down to life style, remembering we are what we eat, is one thing so you really need to sit down and look at what you eat.
As for exercise, we all need to do that on we will all become cabbages, I was working with a guy who is getting good results from exercise, if you can get in a gym this will raise you free testosterone, I think its our free testosterone that's the best thing for our libido, so now were at libido lifters of which I have given you, but you must remember that the links I sent you are mostly amateur stuff, mix with a few good things, but as I'm a lot older than you they work for me but jus 20 minutes max.
But sitting at a computer is not a good way of life, your just sitting and then there is the screen, and if you work late on it, you going to bed on the high side, we need time to switch off, and for you time to switch on your sexual side of your brain, perhaps its because of the computer its cycling your life, not sure were to look for an answer, perhaps you can find some info that links computer life style to sex life, has this happened to other guys, if you can find the right way, you may find your answers there.

Hey there NOHARD,

Almost three weeks have passed and I am now back in my low libido period.

I was walking by the hospital and decided to take a testosterone test (they were advertising and it was quite cheap).

For my surprise, the test result was around 574ng/dL, which is totally normal. According to the doctor, it might be lack of exercise and the fact that I sit in a computer chair most of the day.

What do you think?

Thanks for the links, not exactly the kind of medication I wanted but I'll save it for 3 weeks from now, because now I'm back in my high libido state! Morning boner and crazy for sex!

Hi Jack I will send some libido lifters, when you get these you just watch for 20 minutes max, and at all times you must keep your hands in full view and you penis in your pants, that's a must, these are visual libido lifters.
I have a guy I work with in New York thinks its great, he's getting his wiring rewired, he does have a pump which his says is ok but needed something else, and with these links its great now, but like I have asked you, just 20 minutes with hands in full view.

Thanks for the list. You're right about getting a healthier lifestyle, today is just low libido periods, but tomorrow could be ED.

But one of my main questions remains: Viagra and Cialis are supposed to help giving an erection as long as you're sexually excited. However, my problem is not ED but a lack of sexual desire in those 3 weeks. Are there any medications that actually provide the sexual excitement?

Hi Jack, If your feeling horny then, I will keep out of your way.
I think your real problem, as we seem to have got to the bottom of it, its your life style, your just coming up to 30s, so look out the 40s are coming, and if you have been putting it about a bit, add in some masturbating, bad sleeping patterns,  do you now get the picture, if not try stepping outside of yourself, that way your get a clearer picture.
I think now is the time to start getting into a regular sleep pattern, eat as healthy as you can, get off any of the fast and junk foods full stop, start taken things that will help with your erections, you exercise twice a week, the rest of the time get out walking and swimming, I'll send you a list with links, pick out your own way with them, but mix and match, never rely on just one.

Kinda. I get busier and quieter weeks, and I usually work afternoon-night (for just 2-3h/day when it's a low demand). When I'm too busy I have to do mornings as well so that makes me wake up early. It's not exactly 3 weeks but I noticed that I tend to get extra horny when I sleep and wake up earlier.

I just posted the question because I'd like to know if this is a normal matter, and maybe get comments from guys that have or had the same issue. As I said it's not such a big deal to invest time and money in.

By the way, it seems that my "low" period is ending, today I feel a little bit horny already.

Hi Jack, So do really get a holiday every 3 weeks then?
Rethinking you would need two blood tests, one when horny, and one when your on a low ebb, and only from these would you find out what's going on, Its the only real way to answer your question, if not then why ask the question?

Thanks again for replying.

The cycles may have been around for quite a long time, but I just noticed and estimated the 3-week period recently.

Right now I'm in one of those periods, no morning erection, I feel little or no desire to watch porn or have sex with my girlfriend.

I'm still able to get horny if she tries to turn me on (no erection issues), so right now it's really not a big issue, not enough to make me take blood exams for example. I'm just curious about why that happens.

In about 5-10 days I'll probably be back in my horny stage, having a morning erection and wanting to have sex on a daily basis.

The herpes thing is not related (I think), sometimes I enter the horny stage during an outbreak and this makes me even hornier because I abstain from sex and even masturbation until it's healed.

One factor that may influence is my sleep. It seems that there may be a connection. When I'm too busy with work and studies, sleeping at midnight and waking up at 6am I get horny more easily than during my holidays, in which I go to bed at 3-4am and wake up at noon.

Hi Jack, First I think you pose a problem, but as they say there are no problems just solutions.
When you get this 3 week low, have you thought of having blood tests done, it could be your hormones that for unknown reason are getting mucked up.
But there is a herpes community, here on site, you may find more help there.
One thing it could be your DHEA getting low in these 3 weeks, its a hormone, without knowing, I don't quite know if herpes and DHEA are related in any way?
See how you get on with the blood tests on the down weeks.

Hi Jack, First how old are you?
Are you healthy?
Are you over weight?
Do you smoke?
Drink lots of alcohol?
How much fast and junk foods do you eat?
Are you on any meds?
Do you exercise?
Are you stressed?
Are you depressed?
The reasons for these questions are, what we put into our body's affects what we are and what we do, cant see why your on a 3 week cycle, but I will be honest and say drugs are not you way out.
Please come back
