physiological erectile dysfunction

Hi, i'm 35 and I seem to have physiological erectile dysfunction.   I have been under a lot of stress but my situation is now better since a few months ago. I'm having trouble getting a firm erection when masturbating that won't last long without physical stimulation.  I still get erections that are firm while sleeping and waking up in the morning.    I also went to see a doctor who ran blood tests and everything came out normal.  My testosterone was normal too.   My question is since I feel my stress is gone now, will my ED problem go away on it's own and how long would that take.    Or should i seek further treatment and what kind?

From my point of view, I don't recommend prescription drugs nor supplements for your situation at this time.  Once you start with those, will the body heal on its own or continue to have to rely on meds?  Enjoy dating, and since your sex drive is at a lower level, put sexual interaction on the back burner for now.  Plan ahead whether you deem it necessary to mention your ED and your past stress to your date when the time comes.  I think once your sex drive normalizes, your body will properly respond.

Yardbull, I took your advice and stayed away the meds.   I now seem to have my libido back which should cure my ED issue.  I just wanted to say thank you for you advice.  It really helped me.
So apparently I seem to have lost my interest in sex as well even with my testosterone levels being normal.   I haven't felt any type arousal in awhile even if I decide to look at porn.    Is there anything I can do for that?

Since you are waking up with erections, and your blood tests came out normal, physically there is no problem.  Instead of rolling the issue over in your mind, it may be best to give it a rest now and let Nature take its course.  Avoid porn and masturbation, and only enter into sexual activity when you have the urge.

So 2 months is coming up since I've lost my sex drive and not much has changed.   I'm currently dating someone and I expect there will be a sexual interaction soon.   Would you suggest that I use a prescription drug to help the current situation.  I assume I can do this until my sex drive/ED resolves on it's own.   I know there are supplements that may help, should I try them first before a prescription?

L-arginine is a supplement that will probably fix you right up.  You should read about it.  If you decide to try it, get a good quality one.  You can check Amazon and get a highly rated one.
