For all you know, it could be as simple as your original doctor suggested - that is probably what most GP's would say, since they are more of a referral agent for more difficult issues. But you are only 19, so I wouldn't read (or think) that much into it, it will most likely pass, and you'll be fine in a month.
:)
That's a relief. Thanks for the reply!
numbness can be caused by irritation from shaving, My personal opinion on shaving is too cliched, it may be good for pornstars, because the spread of infection.
Your porn/mb also needs to be abstained as well.
So just leave myself alone & let the sensation slowly but surely return?
I also went to see another doctor & he prescribed me some 25mg pills to help with the erection.
The other responders give terrible advice. This is actually a serious issue that has to do with blood flow and nerves. Right now most urologists are unaware of what causes this issue. My belief is that it is related to Pelvic Floor Disorder (google it to see the connection with erectile function). Just ignoring the problem is not good advice.
Here's another thought - many guys masturbate very vigorously, with almost a death grip on their penis, and that does 2 things that are both bad. First, you'll find you got used to that level of pressure & intercourse & the when with a partner, those sex activities usually can't duplicate that, therefore less arousal & possible loss of erection. 2nd, masturbating that vigorously can just de-sensitize your penis. Of course I have no way of knowing if you do this when by yourself, but if so, try training yourself to get off using less pressure & less vigorous movements. Erections are all about stimulation, so if you've become de-sensitized, not much is going to happen, obviously. And I think the tendency is for the situation to get worse over time. You start feeling less, so you grip even tighter, it becomes a vicious circle. As I said, I don't know if this is an issue for you, but the thought occurred to me & this would be good advice to anyone else who might be feeling numbness. I've also noticed that when I was having intercourse with my wife, if I tried hard not to ejaculate too quickly (i.e., make the act last longer, hoping to satisfy her), I found after awhile I was still hard but couldn't feel anything & then couldn't get off - as with your issue, I was just numb. Hope these thoughts help you or others in some way...
