Porn Induced Erectile Dysfunction

I am 30 years old and for the first 5years I masturbated by reading erotic stories. Those stories I used to masturbate were hardcore includes thinking of gangbang, humiliation etc...  after that in last 2 years i was masturbating by watching porn, during this time I noticed that without getting fully erect I use to ***. Then 6 months back I went to have sex with a lady but failed in getting a erection. But then after somedays I was able to get erect with thinking and masturbating by rewinding the erotic stories.
Then I found out I have Porn Induced Erectile Dysfunction and it's a mental issue and need some advice to overcome it.

I have same situation but due to excess masturbation for last 15 years, the issue is that I ejaculate within 1 or 2 minutes and I am about to get married. Would capsules like viagara etc help in maintaining erection and no ejaculation so that I can have proper sex after marriage and dont get embarrassed?

What do the porn stars in movies use that they stay so erect and can do stuff for many minutes non stop?

No, Viagra would not help your issue.

There are a few meds that are used to treat premature ejaculation, but they are not the same used for erectile dysfunction. One of these drugs is venlafaxine, which is used as an antidepressant but can be used in low doses to treat premature ejaculation.

Either way, you should see a doctor and bring up your issues. Do not be afraid to see a second or third doctor if you need to.

Also, you should not compare yourself to porn actors. Those men are selected for their ability to naturally keep erections. They are already above-average when it comes to erections, and even then they take high doses of viagra and other medicines. Besides that, the scenes are sometimes shot in different times, so if you watch a movie where a guy has been rock hard for 30 minutes, it might actually have been shot during the course of several hours or even a few days, giving the guy enough time to ejaculate, wait, and get hard again.

It's not safe to take medications as porn actors do. Comparing yourself to them is unhealthy as you look up to an irrealistic goal and end up anxious and depressed, thinking there's something wrong with your erection and stamina.

ya, this is a problem. I think giving up the porn completely is step one.  Porn is the easy out. It's so visual and in your face you don't have to think much or be aroused as you do say when with a woman you sleep with on a regular basis.  There is some thought that it actually changes the make up of the brain and can become an addiction.  So, like with all addiction, give up the drug of choice.  I'd purge the porn completely and decrease your masturbation.  And during the process of 'getting clean' still pleasure your lady in other ways even if you can't get an erection.  And a therapist may be a good choice for you so you can get back on track.

I agree with GuitarRox - this is excellent advice for treating your  problem, and also the idea that you can pleasure her in other ways as well - she will appreciate it
