Squats and ED?

For almost a year I haven't been able to get reliable erections and I don't know why. I'm 19 but didn't have a problem performing before college. The only things prevalent at the time it started was stress, testicular pain (varicocele diagnosed later) and I had bad squat form. Eventually, the squatting left shooting pains in my leg and back 'cause I was bending my lower lumbar. I've spent 2 months on PT with a chiro and the pain has improved immensely but the ED isn't cured. I'm on Cialis right now (2.5g a day) but I still can't get reliable erections. Also the only decent erections I have stick up like I'm flexing my PF muscles. i used to do kegels when I was younger (just here and there) and I've picked it back up to see if it helps

I wdn’t think squats & leg pain would affect erectile function one way or the other. However, a lot of bodybuilders use steroids, and those can DEFINITELY lead to ED over time. Hopefully you are NOT using those.

I guess there could be a slight possibility that an artery supplying blood to the pelvic area could be sort of ‘pinched off’ due to injury & that could  reduce the blood flow needed to produce an erection. But this is just a wild guess on my part & I think that’s very unlikely. Best to see a Urologist, especially one who specifically treats ED issues. They can run tests (such as a Doppler Ultrasound) that can show if there’s adequate blood flow to the penis.

Best of luck to you - please check back in here & let us know what’s found & if you’ve seen any improvement…

Do you have any leg pain on the cialis? I started taking it a few days ago to increase blood flow to my extremities and the leg pain I’m experiencing as a side effect is horrible

You should tell your doctor.  A small percentage of men have muscle pain like this, unfortunately.  It's not that common but if you have it, you may want to stay away from the med.
Did you stop taking the medication Kellz19?
