Juicing detox for weightloss?

I was wondering if anyone had tried a week of juicing to help with losing weight and just over all detoxing the body? My diet is good but there is always room for improvement! i struggle with losing weight purely beacuse its an on going battle and i lose motivation! I have ordered the Lose 7lB in 7 Days juicing detox book. Although i know it will be extremely hard and i know this detox and juicing plan is not a long term or ideal diet plan to follow, but i just want something to completely cleanse me out to help get rid of bloating etc. Has anyone tried a juicing detox and if so what was the outcome?

Thanks in advance x

The Peak 8 routine it will quickly raise your heart rate 8 times for very short bursts, with a cooling down period in between. Ideally you’ll be sprinting or cycling full throttle for 30 seconds with a 90 second cool down in between each outburst.

This is the fastest way to lose fat and build muscle in the body. Peak 8 actually stimulates the growth hormone in the body. I encourage you to visit Dr Mercola’s site to learn more about Peak 8 fitness because I personally feel that it is one of the best ways to exercise, especially considering the speed at which you can lose fat and build muscle.

I highly recommend you read this article and watch the videos on the page. It will give you all the information you need to know about Peak 8 – Flood Your Body With This “Youth Hormone” In Just 20 Minutes

What you eat after Peak 8 training does matter

It’s recommended that you do not eat sugar or carbohydrate for 2 hours after the Peak 8 exercise because these foods can impact the release of the growth hormone in the body. The links are http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy7j9FRiJpg&list=PL9FxWnfq1Oyo9pHHUPHeQne4iqoZ4zTN_

Figure your heart rate by this formula
The Karvonen Formula is a mathematical formula that helps you determine your target heart rate zone. The formula involves using your maximum heart rate (MHR) minus your age to come up with a target heart rate range (which is a percentage of your MHR). Staying within this range will help you work most effectively during your cardio workouts.

an example of the Karvonen formula for a 23 year old person with a resting heart rate of 65 beats per minute (*to get your resting heart rate, take your pulse for one full minute when you first wake up in the morning or after you've resting for a while). This formula also includes an updated calculation of maximum heart rate (the previous formula was 220 - age, which has now been shown to be inaccurate):

206.9 - (0.67 x 23 (age)) = 191
191 - 65 (resting heart rate) = 126
126 * 65% (low end of heart rate zone) OR 85% (high end) = 82 OR 107
82 + 65 (resting heart rate) = 147
107 + 65 (rhr) = 172
The target heart rate zone for this person would be 147 to 172

First thing in the morning before you get out of bed have a clock with a second hand and check your resting heart rate then figure your rate by the
Karvonen Formula above.

You burn 30 percent more fat from doing cardio after a weights session as opposed to cardio on its own.

Determine how many calories you need to maintain your bodyweight. The University of Maryland Medical Center recommends that relatively inactive males multiply bodyweight by 13, and sedentary females multiply bodyweight by 10. The resulting number is the number of daily calories needed to maintain your weight.

Subtract from that number to lose weight. You need to burn 3,500 calories to lose 1 lb. If you don't plan to exercise, the entire deficit needs to come from cutting calories. Cutting roughly 500 calories a day from your target number will result in a 1-lb. weight loss each week. You can cut more dramatically to lose weight faster, but keep in mind that the stricter your diet, the more difficult it can be to maintain.

Maintain a food diary. Use a notebook, online diary or smartphone app to keep track of the number of calories you eat. Regardless of the method you use, a food diary is most effective when you track every bite you eat, including snacks and samples you eat during food preparation. A food diary also helps you notice whether you have a tendency to overeat at certain times of the day, allowing you to change bad habits.

Exercise. Not only does it help speed weight loss, but it is important for good health. Get at least two and one-half hours of moderate exercise each week.

I doubt juice detox programs have any value. The weight loss claims are usually exaggerated, and even if they aren't, weight loss at that rate leaves you at risk for gallstones. A healthier and more permanent method is to incorporate fresh produce into a reduced-calorie diet and lose weight on the slow-but-steady plan.
Juice detox programs come in all sizes! Most suggest having nothing but fresh fruit and vegetable juice for a period of seven to 10 days. Some programs allow as much juice as you want.  Others specify how much of each juice to drink and when to drink it. While increasing your consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables even in liquid form is good for your health. juice detox diets generally don't lead to real weight loss, and detoxing is usually unnecessary anyway.
Your body detoxes your liver and kidneys naturally. Your organs clean toxins from your body so they can be excreted in your stool and urine. If they are properly functioning and intact, they do the job just fine and need no help. Juice detox programs do flush out your body, but in a different way the large consumption of fluid has a diuretic effect, and you'll urinate more. The high fiber content of the fruit and vegetables will stimulate your bowels, and you'll have more frequent bowel movements. This combination of fluid loss and increased bowel motility may help make you lose a couple of pounds, but it won't be from fat. The lost weight is simply the result of lost water and lean muscle, and you'll regain most of it when you begin eating normally again!
If your detox program limits you to a very low calorie consumption, you're at a risk for low blood sugar, that can cause headache, nervousness and fatigue. In worse cases, you may become dizzy and even  hallucinate or  have seizures. The juicing  can dehydrate you, and the increase in fiber  can cause bloating, gas and stomach pain. I suggest exercise and a good eating plan to lose weight. Eat the fruits and vegetables. Eat them whole instead of juicing them, and you'll get the full fiber benefit and fill your belly at the same time.
