Ripped muscle?

Well a few months back during a rigorous swim team session, I had a really bad cramp in my right leg. I stretched it out and such and got back in the pool. However, ever since that session, every time I sprint in races, or just do butterfly, breaststroke and freestyle even, I start to feel like a cramp is going to happen. It's like the feeling of it is in my legs when I swim. Then it turned into a bigger problem. Walking seems to be a bit difficult it's not painful but it seems there is a minor annoyance. Then 2 weeks ago, I had a pacing test in my school(running back and forth as much as you can) and after that walking became a bit painful.l My doctor came to the conclusion of overworked muscles and gave me some pills to relax the muscle and told me no exercise for two weeks. The first week has passed but I quite skeptical about i... I still have the feeling in my legs and my  friend says I may have a ripped muscle. Should I take another trip to the doctors?

Hi,
Is there any imaging studies been done for your injury?

Hi,
If you are having the feeling of numbness and tightness then it could be due to nerve injury. This injury you would have sustained while you were training.
If this numbness sustains, then you can get your self examined by an orthopaedician or a sports medicine specialist to see for the area of numbness.
Once indentified it would take time for healing. It may take up to 3-4 weeks for numbness to resolve completely.
Keep me posted.
Bye.

Hmmm, well there's 4 more days until 2 weeks are up and the pain in my legs have gone away. But my legs feel strange...I'll try to describe it as best as I can. My legs feel kinda sleepy but when I walk they feel sleepy and tight kinda of feeling. I already finished all the medicine so that shouldn't be the problem. Is it because my legs are still recovering?

Hi,
I feel nice when I interact with spirited teens like you. The fact that it is almost more than fortnight passed into injury and one week into treatment without much improvement suggests that you should be seeing a sports medicine specialist soon.
I think either it could be muscle injury or muscle tear causing the problem.
Analgesics and topical analgesics cream might help you in your symptoms.
Keep me posted if you have any queries.
Bye.
