Hi,

Height is a genetic trait inherited from both parents. How tall is your father?
You still have a few more years left for height gain. Please make sure you eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly.
Aerobic exercises like swimming and cycling have been found beneficial.

Can anyone give an answer to me about growth excercises and growth products. Do any of them work?

I'm 18 and 1.60 in height and I'd love to add just 5 or 10 centimeters to my height.

Is there anything you can do?

I grew 5 more inches from my freshman year on in high school.  But, I come from a family of 6'2" father and grandfather, 6'4" grandfather, 5'10" grandmothers, and 6'8" uncle, cousin and brother.

I have seen on hypnosis sites on the internet where they have tapes/cd's that are supposed to help a grown person grow taller.  Beside Growth Hormone and body traction, that's the only other place I can think to look for an answer.

I have known many guys who were short during the very early teenage years but sprouted up to be 6 feet tall.  I wouldn't worry about it. You'll get taller. It doesn't matter if your mom is 5'3. You can outgrow her next year, in a few months in a couple of years?  Who knows...but hang in there. You are definately still growing.

I really don't think you need any hormones. Unless your a midget who is past his prime growing years.  Remember, you have only just begun your teenage years.......

You may not have hit your growth spurt yet. I know some people that didnt grow at all for a long time. Then later in high school they grew quite a bit. My cousin for instance used to be shorter than myself. Then one summer he put on almost 4 inches. Hes now around 6'3". So I think you should be fine. Youre still young and have plenty of time to grow.

Talk to your dr. Sometimes they will perscribe growth hormone, but it depends on how old you are
