MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
There is an increase in appetite in pregnancy. Since she is 14 weeks pregnancy, she can indulge in mild exercises like walking or prenatal yoga. She can also do some pelvic floor exercises but she should avoid doing abdominal crunches and exercises which put strain on her abdomen.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Half of me wants to say "leave her alone!" as often pregnancy is the only time a woman can forget about trying to get/stay slim, and give in to eating all those things she usually denies herself! But the other half of me recognizes that it's not the healthiest attitude to have, lol. I'd say don't worry too much about the eating. So long as she eats lots of nourishing foods that will benefit both her and the baby, the occasional treat won't hurt.
However, if she finds herself gorging on tons of sweet foods like candy, cookies, ice-cream etc, then that could be a problem as gestational diabetes and very large babies (often requiring a C-section to deliver) can develop from this.
Walking is a great exercise during pregnancy, but if carrying the extra baby-bump weight gets uncomfortable for her, then swimming is a great alternative. The water will support everything, making her feel loads lighter, it's awesome and very relaxing!

why worry about how much eating she is doing??she is still early in her pregnancy..and she is eating for two souls you know..walking is good..maybe both of you can go walking together..and maybe lamaz classes later in her pregnancy...so long as she eats good while she is pregnant..you dont have nothing to worry about...
