Very early in pregnancy and have no energy to work out, need suggestions.

Hi. I'm in my fourth pregnancy. I am typically a very active person and work out 3x a week with step aerobics, walking and strenth training. For the past month I haven't done anything. I have no energy and feel sick all day. My body is already changing and I feel like I'm turning to mush. What could I do here at home to try to maintain or improve muscle conditioning that would be very low impact but would show results?

I don't have a T.V. but I understand there are workout videos to do during pregnancy. Maybe you could get your hands on one of those?

Also, try lifting some light to medium weight dumbbells. At least you'll get an afterburn effect that's higher than with walking or any aerobic workouts.  Any movement in general will help energize you.

Try walking at first and then maybe your next month your energy may come back. Sometimes when you are pregnant and try to work out and tired already it can make things worse, so go slow.

Good luck and CONGRATS!!!
