Why have I gained weight w/epidural injections?
In October 08, I began Synvisc injections in my left knee. I also took a series of 3 cervical epidural injections,
as well as a series of 3 lumbar epidural injections over a 7 week period. My weight has been steady at 165 lbs.

I had a *cousin* to Synvisc (different brand called Supartz) injections in my left knee just recently. I haven't gained weight. In fact, because my knee feels so much better, I have lost weight. It definitely is the steroid injections you received.
It should go away in time. If it continues, you should let your doctor know.
The epidural injections are steroids! that's why you are gaining weight! If you have been eating more because of the epidurals it will take time watch your intake of food and all should return to normal.
