Glad to hear it worked out well. Maybe being in such close proximity to the males set her off and she felt like nesting. Not sure why my doe got all maternal but they do that sometimes. Hope you were able to erect some kind of barrier or space between the bucks and the does. Even a few inches space would be helpful.
thank you ..... she's not pregnant ... just one of those false pregnacy's I guess ! I kept the nesting box in the cage just in case she was and I didn't feel them in there... because my last doe I had that was pregnant I could not tell she was pregnant either ! I just counted the days when I knew they were together and that's when she had the babies ! They where very cute and all.... but I don't really want to go though that again ! Thanks Again !
They would have to cooperate pretty well with his pushing himself again the cage wire and the doe backing up close to receive. Not likely. I had 2 does years ago and one went into nesting mode. She pulled her fur, made a nest and treated the large lop eared as her baby. The nesting mom was a tiny dwarf. She was a stinker during that time. :-)
Can you palpate the nesting female, see if you can feel babies in there? I would keep the males separated from the does with cardboard or something between the cages.
