Why does right eye to see different height and width after toric lens implant?

I also have mild macular degeneration. I thought this might be caused by that but my retina speicalist said it was not.  I'm thinking maybe the right toric lens may have slipped or rotated.  Haven't heard back from the eye surgeon yet.

I had one eye done 6wks ago, toric lens.  It does seem taller and width narrrow when compared to my left.  I never questioned if it slipped or rotated, but my surgeon said I had no lens rotation

Err can't edit, I meant *when compared to my unoperated eye that still has the cataract

Your Retina Eye MD should be able to tell if you have macular degeneration by an exam and macular OCT. Apparently you don't.  Even if the toric IOL is off axis it should be possible to do a glasses test (refraction) and when you look through that prescription things should look nice and clear.  The glasses RX will tell the cataract surgeon if your toric IOL is off axis.

How can I tell from the RX if the toric iol is off axis? The axis number? The closer the number to 000 the better?

Glasses RX looks like this      _____  Sphere  ______  Cylinder X axis ______ .      The astigmatism  is the number in front of the cylinder word. If you had a toric IOL put in it should be close to zero AND your vision with this entire glasses RX should be about 20/20
