20/20/20 rule does looking through window works too ?

Hello, does looking through window works to for 20/20/20 rule, or it has to be out of window ?

Any distance will work, the idea is to focus further away than the book or computer/video screen. So across room, down hall or out through the window.  When you look through a window the eye doesn't focus on the window it focus on the thing your are looking at through the window. (like your glasses)
