Hello:
Sorry for my English, but it's not my native language, so I'll try to express myself as best I can.
I'm 45, I have albinism and all associated visual problems.
Recently, I was diagnosed with cataracts.
Until a couple of years ago, my vision in one eye was 30/100, and in the other 20/100.
Now it is getting worse and doctors told me that this has to do with the development of cataracts.
I'd like to know if, beyond the type of anesthesia because of the nystagmus, cataracts surgery in individuals with albinism has any other complications.
Also, I like to know if with the surgery, I´ll have the possibility to recover my pre cataracts vision or, even, the placement of an intraocular lens give me the chance to improve the vision a little more, compared to the pre-cataract stage.
Thanks a lot
