Binocular Diplopia

OK, this is going to be a bit long and drawn out but I'm just looking for som experience. About 3 years ago I experienced some sort of problem with my vestibular system (we are pretty sure the left ears balance sense is basically being ignored by my brain). I had sudden dizziness when I woke up and this lasted for about 2 week, was probably one of the most scary things I have experienced. I could not walk AND I had realllllly bad double vision (like you had just spun around a lot). Well the dizziness resolved itself and all that mess but the double vision has stayed. I am only having it when I have both eyes open, and am looking straight ahead at probably greater than 6 or so feet away. Short distance is amazing. It does seem to get worse as the day goes on or as I get tired. It obviously isn't too terrible because I have gotten medicals for my pilots license and passed the medical to be in the fire department, so I think I just have one eye misaligned JUST A LIL bit, but it is enough to be making me go crazy, just want it to go away!

Not much I can do except suggest you see an Eye MD ophthalmologist that specializes in eye muscle problems (Strabismus).  They are often called pediatric ophthalmologists but almost all do adult eye muscle problems.
