Cataract Operation

I had a cataract operation in Feb 2019 but my eye capsular bag was damaged.
My operated eye seemed okay till now but I am worried that perhaps a few years down
the line, trouble could start.
Could this be the case?
Thank you.

Not likely if you are happy now.  In about 20% of patients we have to cut a hold in that membrane eventually with a Yag laser because it turns cloudy. Most of the problems with 'capsular tear"  occur in the first 3-12 months after surgery. So very low risk. See an ophthalmologist yearly and if any problems come up
