Blur during eye movement

When I move my eyes (e.g. I read) I see a very brief motion blur during eye movement.
It is the most pronounced when it's dark in the room and I move my eyes over a light source (in that case it leaves a brief trail).
I thought our brain blocks our vision during eye movement (saccadic suppression?). So how can I see this?
No injury, eyes are in good shape, albeit high myopia and astigmatism.

This is not a question I can answer and you should discuss with your eye MD ophthalmologist.
