Blurry Vision

This is kind of hard to explain, im sure its quite common, but i just wanna run it by someone before i make an appointment with my eye doctor.

I am nearsighted, and the last months ive noticed, and it was actually when i looked at my alarm clock in the middle of the night one night coming back to bed, that i noticed this.

When i look at text on paper, sometimes i get almost like double vision, but not like cross your eyes double vision, its almost like its a little out of focus, and if i close one eye, it still happens, and i can see the text/object clear in both eyes, but its like a faint shadow of the same text/oject. If i open my eyes really wide it all focuses and the shadow goes away, or if i tip my glasses to sharpen the vision, it goes away. The best way i can show this is in the picture attached.

Do i just need to get my prescription tweaked? Or could this be a tired/stressed eye from computer eye strain?

You probably need a change in glasses prescription.  See your eye doctor.
