Blurry ring in both eyes

I have had a blurry life saver shaped ring in both eyes for well over a year (or longer)..   I can see through them but vision isn't as clear and it is as if there is a little less light in that area.  I see well in the middle of the ring and outside the ring.   The ring is constant but worse after computer work and vision is extremely poor in low light or lamp light.  At times I have strobe lights flashing and at others it's like sunlight reflecting off the water.  I do have Sjogrens Syndrome and have had an MRI.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.   I do see an ophthalmologist regularly but so far we haven't found the reason.  I am waiting to see a retinal specialist.    I do have a few different auto-immune diseases and I wonder if this is related.

I would also recommend that you see a neuro-ophthalmologist if the retinal doctor does not find a reason for your problem.
