Both eyes dilated by Dr. only one has returned to normal

I saw  an eye doctor yesterday for a rash on my lower eyelid (left eye).  My left eye is swollen from the rash.  The eye Dr.  dilated both eyes and now my left eye is still dilated about 20 hours after it was originally dilated.  My right eye is back to normal.

I know when only one eye is dilated it is usually a neurological disorder but I don't think that is the case since this occurred after an eye exam where my eyes were dilated.

Basic question  - is it possible that the swelling in my is causing it to stay dilated?  And what should I do now?

The swelling did not cause it.  It should return to normal.

Is there any reason to be concerned that one eye is taking considerably longer to return to normal.  My right eye returned to normal in about 5 hours.  It has now been 24 hours and my left eye is still dilated.  It does appear to be returning to normal but is clearly still dilated.  Is this normal.

Thanks for the response...
