Bright dot of light spontaneously appearing

For the past 4 days or so I'm occasionally seeing this very bright small dot of light near the centre of my vision of my left eye (once or twice a day, maybe right eye too but less noticeable). Lasts maybe 30 secs and as if I looked at something very bright and it's an after-image. But I haven't looked at anything bright.

What could it be? Anything to worry about?

This is similiar to the posts you left here in Feb 2019.  Since that did not lead to something serious, the likelihood is this will not ether. However if it persists you will need to repeat the exams you had in 2019.

No this is different.  This is like a small bright after-image.  Wondering if sign of a detached retina, although seemed to be present in both eyes this latest episode.
Although may be connected to the original problem.  The arc I saw is now often a ring, but quite a bit fainter than it originally was.
Suggest you start the trek back to the ophthalmologist you saw before  for re examination
