And how does the doctor know?
Is it possible to look at the incision to see how well it is healing to judge the amount of hydrostatic pressure it can stand?
Or might get.

I would ask your doctor.  I asked my doctor about jogging and he told me to wait a week.  He also told me I could return to normal duties the next day, but heavy lifting might be a good idea to wait a week or so, but again ask you doctor.
