Can FML eye drops make my cataract worse?

I have a cataract in my left eye and had cataract surgery in my right eye. I was prescribed FML 0.1% eye drops by my ophthalmologist because he gave me some test punctal plugs for my right eye (operated) and said this would help with any inflammation. He said only put the FML drops in my right eye (operated), but I worry that the even though I'm not putting a drop in my left eye, it could make my cataract worse.

Unworry yourself. It will not affect the unoperated LE.   While steroids can cause cataracts when applied to the eye it takes many months of constant use for this to happen.
