Can floaters EVER be colored? CONFUSED

Is there such a thing as a colored atypical floaters? I'm told I have mild vitreous thinning ( not even a pvd) , and see quite often purple flashing spots in my vision day and night. Had many tests by eye doctors and retinal specialists, , just told my eyes are healthy. I was told once this could be a form of floaters ( doesn't look like my other stringy floaters howevere) then heard floaters are never colorful. I'd like a somewhat definitive answer. THANK YOU DOCTSRS FOPR ALL YOU DO

Dear Jason216,

I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD and undergo a complete history as well as eye examination.  This will help the doctor determine whether these colored atypical floaters are really floaters or represent something else.
