Congenital Hypertrophy of Retinal Pigment Epithelium

Can anyone fill me in on this please.

I have been reading up that isnt what I read also he said he wants to keep eye on it see how fast it is growing. It wasnt there a year ago and now it is the size of a corn kernal.
