Cataract Surgery with Trimoxi

Had cataract surgery today after developing cataract post retina detachment. I see worse than when I had the gas bubble. Actually, I see nothing but light. Dr never mentioned he would be using Trimoxi, or that I may not to be able to see. Since most people expect to see better after surgery, I’m pretty annoyed..especially since no expectation of seeing absolutely nothing was ever presented as an option! How long is this supposed to last?!
