Hi
Dr Hagan...quick background. I had a partial retinal detachment in nasal area of right eye last year Febraury 2017. I had a laser baracade to fix. Over the past two weeks I noticed on the periphery (corner) of my left eye from time to time throughout the day I notice like a "jump" in vision or a wobble or flicker in just the corner of left eye (not in central vision). I do only notice it when I am wearing my contact lenses vs. glasses and during day. I also wonder if it could be my contacts not fitting 100 % on eye?
I went for a full eye exam last week...(I mentioned this to optometrist). He did a very thorough eye exam using dilation and said that everything looked great. He said that jump, or flicker can be completely normal and not related to a retinal issue, but did not go into it. DO you agree with this? or have any thoughts? I am not sure I am explaining it great...it is NOT like the flicker I get when inside from lasered portion of right eye. It's more like a jump or twitch in corner of left eye. I have no new floaters or classic retina symptoms. I have become anxious and hypersensitive since my partial detachment.
Thanks
