Cataract with new eyeglass

Dear Dr
I have cataract in my right eye but  the doctor( surgeon-ophthalmologist) told me I should wait 3 month for second visit to evaluate the cataract progression and be sure that is stable or not. He told me that after 3 months he can decide to make surgery or not. however ,  my  eyeglass is as follow
Right eye.   SPH                CYT.        AXis
                    _2.0.                _1.5.          100
Left eye       _2.5.               _1.5.             80

But the optometrist now gave me the prescription as follow

Right eye.   _4.5.                 _1.5.            95
Left eye.      _2.0.                 _1.5.             80

My vision is improved with the new prescription. I would be grateful let me know that is better use my available eyeglass or order glass with new lens ( new prescription).
Best regards

The change in your new glasses in the RE is due to the cataract.  It is called 'pseudo-myopia'.  It is unlikely you would be happy buying new glasses.  They may be hard to get use to because of the difference in the two eyes, the glasses RX will change as the cataract growns and it will not help color vision or glare problems in the RE.  You might consider NOT spending the money and seeing the surgeon in 3-4 months. It's likely you will need surgery soon in the RE and that will change the RX again.
